Getting back to Training

I run circuit training at the Grand Valley Climbing Gym and here is a glimpse of my 5 am crew getting it done. We change it up each week and try to laugh our way through the workouts. I am very happy that the am crew is so dedicated to getting and staying fit. It’s also always awesome to hear about their weekend trips and accomplishments. I am really glad to be a part of their journey outdoors, even though it is indoors.

Later in the morning, before I head to the high school to teach, I get to get my training on. I combine some circuit upper body moves to warm up with some very finger and power specific movements. Our smaller but dedicated group always cheers each other on and ends the morning feel destroyed but happy. These few and effective workouts are what keeps me fit and motivate to try hard when I get outside where ever I may be climbing or hiking or adventuring!
