Ah yeah! It started with some early laps with Mike B since we got snowed on in Zion. This years event had about 1000 participants and was greeted with perfect weather. I was teaching traditional anchors and leading techniques. Three of my sponsors were there SCARPA, CAMP and Arcteryx. This meant that there would be plenty of my team mates in the area to catch up with. Talking to some of my peers is always a joy and this year I was lucky enough to meet a few new folks that were really fun to trade stories and adventures with.
Each of my clinics had about 10 clients where we were able to practice gear placements and building anchors. I am always amazed at what kinds of placements they find and what questions they conjure up. It is my pleasure to share with them my 20+ years of experience of my goof ups and successes.
